Mr. Vandergriff came to IACS starting the 2025-2026 school year for math and science for grades 3-5. He also does special education and physical education for all grades.

Mr. V has a beautiful wife, Meghan, and two handsome sons. He also owns the world’s most perfect cat! Mr. V loves plants and designing outdoor spaces and landscapes. His two favorite things to do are bowhunting and trout fishing. A fun fact about him is that he is the third of his name and his son is the fourth.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

“I would love the power to travel in time. I think it would be neat to visit different parts of the world during major historical events.”

What is your favorite thing about working at IACS?

“I love working with the staff here. Everyone is very supportive of each other.”
