  • How do I register my child(ren) for IACS?

    Please fill in our enrollment form, call us at 870-869-3015, or stop by during school hours. We look forward to hearing from you!

  • Does IACS charge tuition?

    No. IACS is a public charter school. Just like other public schools, there is no tuition fee!

  • Does IACS offer breakfast and lunch?

    Yes! And we are happy to share that the school covers the cost of both meals for all students.

    Meals are free to all students!

  • What are the school hours?

    Breakfast is served starting at 7:30. Students may arrive any time after 7:30 am.

    Class starts at 7:50 am

    Class dismisses at 3:20 pm

  • When are school breaks?

    Check out our calendar for the most up to date info about breaks and other school events

  • Where does the bus drop off/pick up?

    The bus picks up and drops off in Black Rock, Portia, Walnut Ridge, Pocahontas, Ravenden, and Imboden, and can add new stops as needed along those routes.

  • What curriculum does IACS use?

    It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • What are the teacher/student ratios at IACS?

    For the 25-26 school year, we have 14 students per teacher, so all students are able to get individual attention and more personalized learning.

  • Does IACS offer a sports program?

    IACS students can play in the city of Black Rock athletics for free!

  • Can I volunteer at IACS?

    Yes! We love when parents are involved with the school. Please fill out our volunteer form and we’ll be in touch.

  • Can I work at IACS?

    Maybe! If we are hiring, we post on our Facebook page as well as on Indeed. You can also submit your resume to be considered for future openings.
